Snow Virgins

This is Zion’s West Temple and Towers of the Virgin taken at first light during a December snow storm. Zion, like all national parks, is different in winter than during the summer months. The crowds are non existent, you don’t have to ride the trams and of course, it’s quite a bit cooler on the valley floor. Here, the snow dampened the noise, making the scene deathly quiet.
