Fallen Roof Ruin

Located in one of Cedar Mesa’s canyons, this is Fallen Roof Ruin. An Anasazi family lived here probably for centuries then left without a trace. The fashionable belief is that climate change or a long term drought forced them to move on.

I can’t tell if the ceiling fell while occupied or after it was deserted. Imagine being awoken by the sound of tons of rock falling on your front porch. And you thought you had house problems.
