Wukoki

Just north of Flagstaff are the twin National Monuments of Sunset Crater and Wupatki. It’s in Wupatki that you can explore several ancient Indian ruins. This is Wukoki or The Big House. Built into a sandstone rock, it sits above a dry wash and overlooks the Painted Desert.
