Citadel Ruins

Built atop a lava outcrop, this building has a 360° view of the surrounding fields and would have been a good place to defend against marauding invaders. With its stunning views, it would still be a good place to build a home today, except it’s located within Wupatki National Monument north of Flagstaff.
