The town of Kaikoura is one of our favorite stops in New Zealand. The scenery is breathtaking with the snow-capped Seaward Kaikoura Range plunging to the Pacific across the bay and the green that’s everywhere. I was trying for a sunset picture of the mountains but it didn’t work out. Instead, I came across this shot. In this light, even the cows look good. I can’t remember which one was dinner.
