Nuggets Lighthouse - 2002
On New Zealand’s Pacific coast south of Dunedin, is this lighthouse at the Nuggets. With the emergence of GPS and strobe lights, lighthouses aren’t used any longer. It's a popular spot with Kiwi photographers and it marks the beginning of the Catlins Area. The Catlins has the largest remaining tract of indigenous habitat in New Zealand. It's a quieter corner of New Zealand and you only need to quarrel with the seals and penguins for beach space.
