Some of the Moeraki Boulders look like a round Rubik’s Cube put together with a bucket of super glue. Actually the yellow caulking is yellow calcite spar that looks like amber. This type of Moeraki doesn’t seem as strong as the ones free of seams because there are lots of them broken open and scattered about the beach. You can read more about the boulders
